Reflection
For these diptychs I didn't just stick with one theme for things to be compared. For the first image I used the concept of comparing shapes. The gear of the typewriter matched up almost perfectly with the headlight from the car. I think that using shapes to be compared is an easy way to help guide your audience's eyes across the piece. The second photo is comparing colors. The murky green of the frog is compared to the light and fresh pink of the water lily. It also compares the concept of beauty. You have the beautiful water lily compared to the frog in pond water. I think that seeing pictures that are comparing or contrasting certain themes helps to give people a new perspective on things,
